The Sindh Taekwondo was established in the year 2000 with a vision to promote and develop the sport of Taekwondo across the region. Affiliated with the Sindh Olympic Association, the Sindh Sports Board, and the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, our association is committed to upholding the highest standards of training and competition.
Since 2012, under the leadership of Kamran Q. Qureshi, President of the Sindh Taekwondo Association, we have been actively organizing a variety of events, including Karachi City Championships, Provincial Championships, National Championships, and Sindh Championships. Our efforts also extend to providing certified coaching and referee courses, ensuring the growth and development of athletes and officials alike.
The Sindh Taekwondo Association proudly represents our region in numerous national and international championships. Our athletes have achieved remarkable success, securing silver and bronze medals and bringing honor to our association.
Currently, around 60 clubs are affiliated with the Sindh Taekwondo Association, spanning divisions such as Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, and Benazirabad. Each division includes various districts, all contributing to the rich tapestry of Taekwondo in Sindh.
We remain dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for athletes of all levels, from beginners to champions, and we strive to promote the values of discipline, respect, and excellence through the sport of Taekwondo.
It gives me immense pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Management of Sindh Taekwondo Association (STA) on the successful launch of their official website. STA has become the first provincial association to establish its own digital platform, and this is indeed a commendable milestone.
I am confident that this initiative will bring great benefits to the association, its officials, athletes, and the Taekwondo community at large. Through this platform, STA will not only be able to highlight its activities and achievements but also provide valuable information, opportunities, and resources to its members.
The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation greatly appreciates this forward-looking step and hopes that other provincial associations will also follow this excellent example.
I once again congratulate STA’s leadership and management team for this remarkable achievement and wish them continued success in their journey to promote Taekwondo in Sindh and beyond.

it was indeed a matter of immense pleasure for me to note that sindh taekwondo association has taken the lead in floating their own website titled as “sindhtaekwondo.com”.
this will definitely help in spreading the activities and broadcasting news, training schedules of different registered clubs, games & championships being organized at club / division / provincial and national level.
this will also be a platform to introduce the talented youths – taekwondo players (both male & female) who participate in different championships in the country and abroad.
on behalf of the executive committee of sindh olympic association, i congratulate mr. kamran q. qureshi, the president of sindh taekwondo and his team and wish that other provincial sports associations will also come forward in launching their websites.
